HeartSong is a fun singing session run for CF members, their family and friends, led by Katie Rose, an experienced choir leader and daughter of CF member John Burden who organises the group. Singing is a gentle form of cardio-vascular exercise with many benefits, e.g. deeper breathing, lower blood pressure and it keeps the grey matter in trim too. Sessions include gentle warm up exercises and the songs chosen are often well known or popular and seasonal, e.g. carols, and can come from around the world. All the songs are taught by ear and there is no need for previous experience or to be able to read music.
